At
26 weeks gestation Jordayn Chantál was born weighing 2 pounds 1.3
ounces. She was placed on a ventilator
and received breathing treatments and phototherapy for her jaundice. She spent 60 days in the NICU and now is an
active 13 year old that enjoys playing basketball and cheerleading.
Six years later, Niki experienced another
unexpected arrival of her youngest daughter BrookeLynn. Niki had another emergency C-section and BrookeLynn
Elisè was born at 34 weeks, she weighed 5
pounds and spent 14 days in the NICU.
She also received the phototherapy and breathing treatments. BrookeLynn is now a 8 year old that loves soccer
and cheerleading as well. Jordayn and
BrookeLynn are proof that the contributions made to March of Dimes are valuable
and life-saving.
