We participate in March for Babies in honor of our son
Christian, born 11 weeks early and in memory of our angel, Cameron. I delivered Christian, 11 weeks early and he
weighed just 3 lbs. He spent many days in the NICU at The Woman’s Hospital of
Texas. Today he’s happy and healthy 6 year old.
I was 2 weeks away from delivering my 3rd child, Cameron, when we learned that he was gone before he’d had a chance to take his first breath. This tragic event changed me forever and challenged me to do something positive in my sons’ honor.
March of Dimes provided me comfort and support through the NICU Family Support program at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas (HCA). While in the NICU, Christian received life-saving treatment (surfactant therapy) developed through research funded by the March of Dimes. I March for Babies because every baby deserves the best possible start.
